Founder Steve Schad built Optima Advisory on the principle that small and mid-size businesses ought to have access to the same high quality human capital strategies and programs that big companies do—at an affordable rate and exactly when they need them.
An HR executive and organizational development practitioner in the corporate world for more than two decades, Steve experienced firsthand the benefits of integrating strategic practices to attract, retain and develop great talent. He deeply understands how workplace culture and effectiveness impact business performance and that it can mean millions of dollars to the bottom line. And above all, he is driven to help the organizations he works with achieve success.
To meet the needs of small and mid-size companies, Steve developed a “fractional” model to provide affordable, flexible HR staff augmentation from the C-Suite to the front lines. This includes temporary, contract part-time and interim HR executive leadership, administrative support, and special projects consultation and implementation.
